We are now pleased to Announcement: Antz Junction Awarded Charity Status
Junction are extremely pleased to announce that we have been granted charitable status by The Charity Commission for England and Wales. Registered Charity Number: 1150712
Chairperson David Pemberton said he was “delighted” with the news and “It was a lengthy process and to have achieved this is a great boost for our aims and the local community”
So what does this mean for us?
Essentially, having charitable status means that Antz Junction will be able to apply for grants and funding that were previously unavailable to us as simply a ‘company limited by guarantee’.
If we are successful in our applications, the money we receive will go wholly towards our projects which will always provide a benefit for our local community.
We will now also be eligible to receive charitable donations from people or companies that wish to support our mission and aims.
This is excellent news for Antz Junction and our community, and a great way to start 2013.
